Plugging the Deserving

January 18th, 2005 | Category: Uncategorized

For those of you wondering about that beautifully infectious piece of music under the “Breakups” trailer, I’ll clue you in:

The song is “Samsara” by Tom Maxwell, from his album of the same name. Many of you will remember Tom as the former frontman of the Squirrel Nut Zippers. His solo work is equally fantastic. Tom’s been cool enough to grant us the use of “Samsara” for the film. I’m sure you’re wondering how you, personally, can reward this coolness. Fear not, I’ll clue you in again:

You can visit “Tom’s website”:http://www.tommaxwell.com and let him know what you think of his song. And while you’re there, you can buy his CD. Cool people supporting cool people. It’s the way economics should work.

Thanks again to Tom and all the other talented musicians (you’ll find most of them listed on the right) who’ve helped us along the way.
